What is Muhkam?
Mutashabihat are the near-identical ayat that recur across the Qur’an: the same opening with a different ending, a swapped word, or a familiar phrase appearing in another surah.
Most Qur’an apps help you read, listen, and track progress. Muhkam trains the exact places where your hifz gets confused.
Track the pages you have memorised, then practise them with focused questions: complete the ayah, choose what comes next, identify the surah, or find the missing verse. Muhkam learns which similar ayat trip you up and brings those exact pairs back until they become firm.
How it works
Track your hifz
Mark every Qur’an page as memorised, reviewing, in progress, or not started. Filter by juz or surah, see what you own, and choose what needs work.
Practise each page
Once a page is marked memorised, Muhkam prepares focused questions from that page and its mutashabihat patterns.
Complete the ayah
Choose the missing phrase from near-identical options.
First word of the next ayah
Strengthen flow between ayat and page transitions.
Identify the surah
Recognise where a familiar ayah belongs.
Find the missing ayah
Fill the gap in a sequence of consecutive verses.
Drill your weak pairs
Muhkam does more than mark answers wrong. It remembers the exact distractor you chose, then repeats that confusion pair in different forms until it is no longer a weak spot.

Midway students
As more juz build up, mutashabihat start appearing. Muhkam helps you catch those confusions early instead of carrying them forward.
Huffaz maintaining hifz
Use your muraja’ah time where it matters most. Muhkam targets the slips and weak pairs without making you restart from the top every day.
Teachers and families

Wherever you are in hifz, Muhkam meets you there.

How much will it cost?
Muhkam will have a free tier and a paid tier. Final pricing will be announced at launch. The free tier includes the hifz tracker and core practice; the paid tier unlocks the full mutashabihat library, confusion-aware practice, and offline access.
I’m just starting hifz. Can I use Muhkam?
Yes. Mark pages as you memorise them, and Muhkam prepares focused practice for each page. Your weak-spot profile grows with your hifz, from the first pages to long-term muraja’ah.
How is Muhkam different from Tarteel, Quran Companion, or other hifz apps?
